Cover on dat book?
The old cliché’ don’t judge a book by its cover holds true.
Here is a good true example story: I’ll name her Jenny. Jenny wanted to find the PERFECT GUY for her:
Handsome, Nice, Heroic, Wealthy. C’mon Jenny…there is no such thang!!! She lived in a so-so
apartment building. Jenny had blind dates via friends, dated semi-workers, and used may dating sites.
Exhausted she, she gave up. During the past year, Jenny said hi to the guys in jeans and t-shirts coming
in and out of the apartment down the hall. One day, she began speaking to one of these fine young
men, and voila they became friends and went for coffee, dated, and as the story goes, married! You see
Jenny judged the guys down the hall because they lived, like her, in a so-so apartment, wore jeans and tshirts, not dashing, wearing suits in a luxury residence. The guy she ended up marrying, a nice down to earth kinda guy, rented that apartment for his tech company employees, because it was cheaper than
hotel rooms! Had Jenny stopped and looked up, she would’ve seen HER PERFECT GUY a year ago.
This is a true story, and if I can locate the source, I’ll post.
