Dating

Hey guys, when meeting your first date at a venue be sure to be there before her, or at least within minutes of the agreed upon time.  Traffic?  Couldn’t find the other sock?  Mom called?  There is no excuse.  The lady shouldn’t have to wait there by herself, and you never know who she could meet while waiting for your scrumptious buttocks.  Game on! Married men, be there on time for your wives, this shows you care and is very good foreplay for what’s to come.

You gotta think about why you’re dating.  Stop.  Think.  Why? Are you filling up your time with date after date because you’re afraid to be alone (Captain Crunch) or simply can’t find the right long termer (Wheaties)? A few years ago I was listening to Jenny McCarthy on XM radio.  She’s the best…funny as heck and as smart as my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Zella, well almost.  Jenny hides her smarts behind her comedic personality, the glossed locks and beautiful skin, and guys I don’t even have to mention her BOOBS, and

Realistically, you’re going to need to free more time during the entire dating process.  And, dating is a numbers game depending on the experience of the dater.  You’ll most likely spend a few months together and happily hop your own ways, dating some more to find your life partner, or dating for what other

Still dating or attracted to the same type of person? Take a dating break.  No serial dating. Don’t try to date a different type….just don’t date that type of person anymore, and see the new type of person comes towards you.  You need to be eyes wide open to recognize the change, and this will take a little bit of time. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Rejection is really tough to take, and we’ve all been rejected at one time or another in a relationship or simply by someone we’d like to get to know. 🙂 That other person is looking for his or her match…whatever that match may be.  Yes, it’s personal, but don’t take it personally.  Be sure to ask for a sound explanation, and remember that persons expanation for refection at a later time.  You’ll see that the break-up was probably for a good reason. You have to go through the emotional shock

Prepare yourself to be ready to meet a nice person and date….really be ready. If you feel like you need to get into better shape, mentally disable the past relationships, shave more often, lol, what ever it is to get your self ready, get ready! Believe it or not, there are a lot of truly great people out there that want to meet and be in a long term relationship, and it’s not fair to them if you waste their time, especially mental time, because you cannot move forward with

While finding a compatible mate, there are specific qualities that a person should assess before romance can begin: Sense of Humor How you Interact Rapport Chemistry Naturally able to Communicate We can assess this quicker with a face-to-face than we can in hours upon hours of browsing dating sites.  Slow down and be aware when you are out and about…many people have met this natural way! Does love find us, or do we look for love?

Years ago when I was first on the dating seen as a bonafide adult, I was going away for an evening and OM-Gosh, what do I wear at night?  So I went to VC and bumped into a friend who was also single and dating.  I’ll refer to the friend as SAD, single and dating. 🙂  Now that I think about this scenario, it’s the classic of Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, lol.  And I DO have a lot of these stories! So if you can imagine, SAD said, “Oh no,
