Dating two different people at the same time for several weeks or months can get tricky after awhile, especially when both of their names are the same!  Mine were named John, and they were first dates out of the divorce gate…no joke….one was a fix-up and the other I met on the golf course.  Now this was years ago when most of us still had a few corded landlines in certain areas of the home, and where it got tricky was when John would call and say “Hi, this is John”.  I answered in my garage when I was getting ready for golf, and had to listen for about a minute before I knew which John this was!  There were funnier (nerve racking) incidences too, and the drama was probably more of the hazard of dual dating, rather than having the same name.  I was always a one woman man and this dual dating confirmed my morals and values.  Too much drama for this chick.  These were two very different John’s in their middle aged life, and eventually one had to go, so of course this took a little bit more time. 🙂  If we wait long enough, the real person reveals himself.  There’s nothing wrong with dual dating as long as you’re honest, but eventually the situation will work it’s way out.  Have fun!
