Liar, Liar Pants on Fire

Remember that phrase from your younger years, and if you’re lucky enough to be blessed with children, are your kids using this phrase?  I remember the one time I was caught in a lie as a child, I let the hamster out of the cage to run around the room and voila,  he disappeared.  There weren’t any of my three siblings around, and of course they wouldn’t take the blame anyway.  Yup, caught in a lie and for me as a child this was traumatic.  I didn’t get spanked or in todays equivalence #cellphonetaken, but I was so terribly embarrassed that I truly don’t think I’ve ever lied again…..and I’m talking years of telling the truth, ha!  Not an easy task at times. 🙂

So let’s talk about liars in the dating world, or in any world.  I personally resent liars.  Run don’t walk.  They are very weak human manipulators that can’t face their fears, and thus go through life duking others in their pleasure and business ventures.  That’s my definition and I’m sticking to this.  What spurred this topic was that I bumped into some newer friends at a local restaurant one evening last week.  I assumed that (never assume, especially guessing that someone’s pregnant, ugh) “Dashing” (I’m calling him Dashing to protect his innocence and because this guy is always smiling and the kind of person that people like to be around…such a nice guy and ladies and he wants to have a fam!) was still dating his girl, and heck, the last time I saw them they were smiling ear to ear in blissful lust and having a grand time together!  Well, he and his dashing buddy commented that the two are not together anymore and quite frankly I was surprised, because usually I can tell if a couple simply won’t last for the long haul.   Well, I had to ask what happened, and the Dasher’s explained that she was not being quite honest in their relationship. #manipulatingtruth  #holdingtruths

Not quite lying is the same as lying.  There is no gray area here in the lying world.   Holding details back is also manipulating of the truth. #lying   Once a cheater, always a cheater…..  Run don’t walk because they’re not going to change.   She will find her miserable match and Dashing is better with out her.
