Wear, what??

Years ago when I was first on the dating seen as a bonafide adult, I was going away for an evening and OM-Gosh, what do I wear at night?  So I went to VC and bumped into a friend who was also single and dating.  I’ll refer to the friend as SAD, single and dating. 🙂  Now that I think about this scenario, it’s the classic of Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, lol.  And I DO have a lot of these stories!

So if you can imagine, SAD said, “Oh no, this is what you’ll want to wear, slinky & sexy.  Ladies, most men really don’t care what you wear, and don’t break the bank because it comes off in less than 5 minutes, maybe 90 seconds if you’re really lucky.  I had a conversation with a 28 year old years later that states she only buys cheap, easy to tear off, under garments because that’s exactly what he does, rips it off. 😉

Yes, I listened to the well seasoned SAD.  Truly, a cute little flannel shorts and tank top would have awesome and warmer on this cold winter night, and not that it didn’t come off, but that the comfortable style was a little more suited to the (let’s call it) venue.

Always, always be yourself, and wear what ever you’re little heart and inner diva style is telling you.  Girlfriend, don’t over think your situation and have fun. 🙂   You’ll have a great, or not so great night, no matter what you’re wearing!

And men, just show us your cleanest,  boxer’s or tightie-whities. 🙂
